ADVENTURE RACER SPORTS NUMAS TO 1ST PLACE IN ABU DHABI ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

posted on Jan 05, 2010 at 11:51 am

My Numa’s have been doing a great job for me. They seem to stay with me. Other glasses get damaged, scratched - you name it. The glasses I wore in this race I’ve been wearing since Numa launched in August 2007! (And I actually wore them yesterday on my 3 hours river kayak…and now they are sitting beside me on my desk.)

Hey there JB,
These are the most amazing glasses ever… they have held up amazingly. With 4 of our kids using them and hopping from race to race that’s a huge testimony to the sturdy sunglass frames. Casey is now a Junior Category 1 mountain bike racer, won National Championships and races the entire US Cup series. He is doing extremely well…he is ALWAYS on the podium…Cameron is Sport 13/14 yrs old and also won the National Champs jersey…he is on the podium at every race as well.
Evan is Beginner 11/12 y.o. age group and placed 3rd at National Champs (he had to race his brother Cameron). Evan just recently won at Sea Otter Classic…that is a huge win. He is winning big this year…very exciting year for him. WE are so busy and not too technological so our website is a bit behind… but we are going to update with hundreds of photos. Visit us at http://www.teamzionadventures.com. We absolutely LOVE the Numa’s more than any other brand.

Kim and Roger Williams, Casey,Cameron,Evan, Elle (9yrs) our newest racer..
Nate, and Lanie.

I would also like to add that I, (Kim) am a long distance runner and the sharks are the best fitting sunglasses that a runner could wear, no slipping, and light as can be….I fight hard to wear the Numa’s whenever the kids aren’t using them on a ride…(smile)!

RIDING WITH NUMAS DAY AND NIGHT

posted on Oct 14, 2009 at 12:29 pm

Hi Jake,
I got the shades, and have used them mtn. biking a few times. I really like the full coverage, and the frame material is truly amazing. Also, the beefy case and interchangeable lenses are great for riding motorcycles too, can just throw it all in a tank bag and go. Clear lenses are handy for night riding.

These seem like a pretty cool product for a range of applications.

NUMA’S RECEIVE HIGH PRAISE ON THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL

posted on Sep 29, 2009 at 11:59 am

I start the Appalachian Trail in September and will be wearing my new Numa’s on the trip. Everyone who’s seen me today has asked about the glasses.
Rafters are notorious gear-heads and will be calling you I’m sure to get their own glasses soon enough. Nothing about me or my life is fragile so i will be “product testing” with every run down the river!
All my best,
Captain Todd (Raft Guide, US Army Ranger)

You may get tired of hearing it, but these glasses are the bomb! they are a massive hit here, and since Abe and Rip got theirs, no one is talking about anything else. Even Doug’s kids want them! Thanks again!
Captain Todd

Gear review follow-up, after 1 month of wearing Numas in the field as a river raft guide:
‘The Mandarin lenses are perfect for the river. Our cloud cover in the Adirondacks limits reflection and makes it hard to see the rocks we all try to miss. So the lenses make some low light conditions easier to operate in.”

NUMAS ARE INVALUABLE

posted on Aug 26, 2009 at 12:21 pm

Dear Niels,
Good job with the glasses! We love our new Numas. I wore them practically the whole time during the Atacama Crossing, and so did my girlfriend (she was a volunteer). They have been dropped and slept on a complete night. The lenses and frame did at no time bother me, they were perfect for the circumstances where the sun was so powerful. I can highly recommend them.

Thanks a million for your help. The Numas were invaluable and I will of course be using them again during the Sahara Race in Egypt come October.

Best Regards,

NUMAS ARE TOUGH AND SERVE ALL PURPOSES

posted on May 30, 2009 at 12:33 pm

Dear Numa,
These are awesome glasses. I get so many compliments on them… Because they are white, people notice them more and compliment me all the time. Then I take them off and show them how cool it is to have not only sunglasses that are tough, but multipurpose!
